The accommodation was wonderful, really charming and had a special feel to it. It looked even better than the photos in person. The high barn roof upstairs was very impressive and spacious. Great location for Scafell Pike - so close I climbed it two days running - incredible views on one day. Lovely pub across the road - the pie was indeed fantastic. The gas fire was very cosy and relaxing and a luxury if you do not have one. Lots of seating choice to relax - eat and plan hikes. Car parking by the front door helped so much with kit loading. Having two bathrooms here is amazing and it would make a family or a two couple stay very private in their own en-suites. I would 100% recommend staying here.
